A petition from our community and patrons

We, the undersigned, respectfully ask the owners of the Willawarrin Hotel to reconsider the decision to terminate Lee's employment and to meet with him to discuss his return to the pub.

For a small community, the local pub is more than just a business. It is a meeting place, a place where people look out for each other, and an important part of what brings our community together.

During his time at the Willawarrin Hotel, Lee has put considerable time and effort into supporting the pub, its staff, its patrons and the wider community. His commitment, willingness to step in when needed, organisation of activities and food for patrons, and genuine care for the people around him have not gone unnoticed.

The response from members of our community following his departure demonstrates that Lee's contribution to the Willawarrin Hotel has been valued by far more than just those working behind the bar.

This petition is not about attacking individuals or creating division.

It is simply our way, as patrons and members of the community, of asking the owners to hear our voices.

We want Lee back.
