Since COVID, LBHS graduations have been held on campus, with students in the bleachers and families on the field. This misses the unique and special atmosphere we’ve always treasured at the Irvine Bowl. For those who don’t know, the Irvine Bowl is located in Laguna Beach. It’s the beautiful outdoor amphitheater venue where the Pageant of the Masters and Festival of Arts take place.

We respectfully acknowledge the decision-makers' concerns regarding parking and space as reasons for continuing this change. However, for over 70 years, graduations at the Irvine Bowl have proceeded without significant issues. We kindly request a solution that addresses practical concerns while preserving this cherished tradition.

We urge decision-makers to listen to the voices of students, residents, alumni, and the community who wish to bring back our beloved tradition. The Irvine Bowl has served us well for over seven decades, and there's no sound reason not to resume holding graduations there.
