Good Afternoon all of you,

I been into Super 8 for a long time since the 2010s, I always wanted to shoot on Kodachrome. Due to Kodak retiring Kodachrome I was not able to, and somehow I know they brought back Super 8 (they’re smart for doing that; it’s motivating me to shoot more Super 8) as well bringing back Ektachrome.

 

I am amazed they brought back Ektachrome, and with their Vision 3 stocks available. By far my favourite one is the 500T. Ektachrome 100D is slightly expensive and it’s understandable.

 

I don’t suppose it’s meant to be with Kodachrome. However I am one of the few that’s got faith in this stock coming back.

 

I am creating this petition in hopes of having others like me shooting on either Super 8, 16mm or 35mm (including them 65mm and 70mm film shooters too) feel welcome to want to give their input to try and bring Kodak a strong persuasion of bringing Kodachrome out of Retirement.

 

I will be one of the few that’s willing to get these even if I have to ride the waves of those who are hungrier more than myself wanting Kodachrome. Meaning waiting because I see potential Kodachrome has in these times.

 

Even one YouTuber has managed to make a colour developing machine to develop expired Kodachrome 40 Super 8 in Colour. Here’s his video on YouTube:

Please Bring Back Kodachrome, I mean worst case I make a petition here again and hope they could make a return for the 5247 100T film stock (I always wondered if that stock was available in Super 8).

Heck those stocks could be apart of Kodaks new Vision 4 line of Super 8 and films. And I’m not spokesperson of Kodak, just an artist with multiple disabilities who thinks this petition will work. Well we’ll see. :)

 

I hope my petition gives you some hope and creative drive to want Kodak to bring Kodachrome out of retirement. That’s including you too Kodak (I have faith in you keeping Super 8 and films alive)
