It has now been over a month since Kirk was arrested. He has since been transported to York County Prison, where he is awaiting the next steps in his criminal case. Kirk maintains that he acted in self defense, and his lawyer is prepared to fight for him at his upcoming court date on October 6.
There have not been many updates on Kirk’s immigration case yet because his immigration lawyer wants to focus on resolving the criminal case first. Kirk has also shared that there is an upcoming hearing on that could potentially help reinstate the paperwork he needs. There is still a lot of hope for Kirk, but he needs his community behind him.
