-To our knowledge K9 Nala is in possession of Nevada Highway Patrol as far as we know the transfer back from where she was signed off to occurred Sunday 01/21/24
-Garcia was placed on administrative duties on Monday 01/22/24 the day after social media went live and remains on administrative duties currently. 
-Garcia has had no direct update from anyone in his department regarding Nala, only the misleading press release. 
-Garcia has sent a message to Governor Lombardo through the online portal and social media requesting to speak with the Governor about this situation and a resolution. 
-Garcia remains willing and ready to adopt OR purchase K9 Nala and cover the cost of her replacement.
