I am a resident of The Bronx, deeply passionate about sharing cultural experiences with my community. I believe that hosting Japanese festivals in our borough would be a wonderful way to promote cultural diversity and mutual understanding.

Japanese festivals, known as Matsuri, are vibrant events filled with traditional music, dance performances, and delicious food. They offer a unique opportunity for us to learn about and appreciate the rich culture of Japan right here in our neighborhood.

The Bronx is home to over 1.4 million people from diverse backgrounds (U.S Census Bureau). Despite this diversity, opportunities for residents to engage with different cultures through local events are limited.

By bringing Japanese festivals to The Bronx, we can provide an enriching experience for our community members while also promoting inclusivity and respect for different cultures.
