Icy Bar recently just permanently closed in the mall. It was the best place for a sweet treat in the mall but recently closed. Now there is only one place for boba: Bubblicious. By returning Icy Bar, we customers will have more options, as Icy Bar had more flavours and drinks to choose from, not to mention the ice cream they offer. For people who dislike Bubblicious flavours, we now have no other boba option in the mall. Please give us back Icy Bar University Park Mall. 

After hearing from employees, Icy Bar closed due to harassment from the new franchise store and its manager; Bubblicious. Envious of the popularity and stability Icy Bar has, Bubblicious took it up with Simon Property (company that owns the mall) to remove Icy Bar. Competition is healthy in the business realm, but they refuse to have their competitor succeed and outsell them, so they attacked a humble, family-owned, local business.

Icy Bar has been in the mall for several years and has gathered a big, loyal customer base. However, when the new boba place opened, they suddenly closed. That does not seem like a coincidence.
