On March 10, 2026, BELIFT LAB announced that Heeseung would depart ENHYPEN to pursue a solo career, citing his desire to follow a "distinct musical vision" that differed from the group’s direction. The decision followed extensive internal discussions. Heeseung confirmed he will remain under BELIFT LAB to prepare a solo album, acknowledging that he prioritized his individual artistic ambitions over remaining with the six-member ensemble.

We all know that Heeseung did not want to leave Enhypen. While he might have the desire to release a solo album, it's unfair for HYBE to force him to choose between remaining in Enhypen or pursuing a solo career. Heeseung has been an integral part of Enhypen's journey, and his contributions have made a deep impact not only within the group but also on the hearts of thousands of fans worldwide.

Just like Mark from NCT DREAM, who faced a similar situation but was brought back thanks to fans' protests, it's time for us, Engenes, to unite and make our voices heard. We need to show HYBE and BELIFT that Heeseung's place is in Enhypen, while also having the creative freedom to explore solo projects. This is not the first petition, and let it not be the last. We need more people to join this movement, to show the sheer volume of support for Heeseung's return to Enhypen combined with his solo pursuits.
