Hi everyone,

It's been a while since the last update, notably because there was nothing new to share. However today, 343 announced they are no longer supporting Halo Wars 2. This means no future balance updates, patches, content, and Halo Wars 2 is not coming to Steam.

While the game will still be playable and function as normal, this is a huge blow to the Halo Wars community. Steam would've been a huge success for the game, and now we are no longer getting that.

343 also said no new Halo Wars games are in development or are proposed. Since Halo Wars 2 ends on a cliffhanger, we can only suspect that Halo Wars 2 will get wrapped up in Infinite somehow...

However, we still believe that Halo Wars 2 should come to Steam. Why can't 343 hire a porting studio to bring the game to Steam, just like they did with Halo Wars Definitive Edition? It's a shame the game is left in this state.

This may be the last update on this petition, but we can still share the word and hope to try one last time to get 343 to bring Halo Wars 2 to Steam (and bug fixes and content). Please consider signing the petition and sharing it with friends to support Halo Wars 2.
