Fentanyl is the single deadliest drug threat our nation has ever encountered,” said Administrator Anne Milgram.  “Fentanyl is everywhere.  From large metropolitan areas to rural America, no community is safe from this poison.  We must take every opportunity to spread the word to prevent fentanyl-related overdose death and poisonings from claiming scores of American lives every day.” (DEA.gov)

We have an opportunity to reach a captive audience of 1000’s of teens and young adults attending our schools in Napa County to share the dangers of pills, yet it is not a priority. We need to MAKE it a priority by telling NVUSD we want every high school student to take part in a fentanyl awareness and education session in 2023. The presenters are ready and willing but there are “other priorities” and this is not being scheduled.  

OUR children are dying and we need to make this a priority. Prioritize this outreach and make life saving supplies available. Please join me in signing this petition letting NVUSD know this needs to be a priority! We can do better!
