I just got back from traveling in Asia and fell in love with the electric scooters there. They are efficient, easy to use, and better suited to reduce environmental footprint if only 1-2 people need to get around. I was shocked that I can't find a single electric scooter dealer in New Mexico and can't even try to reduce my carbon footprint in this way.

The environmental cost of making whole cars doesn't offset the benefits of electric vehicles. We need more environmentally friendly options like electric scooters, especially since public transportation improvements seem unlikely soon. Electric scooters produce zero emissions during operation and can significantly reduce traffic congestion.
