Bring E. Goodman Back
Bring E. Goodman Back
The Issue
DISCLAIMER: This is a student lead petition that, as of this moment, has no bearing on Goodman's position with the county. This petition was formed in hopes of showing our support for Ms Goodman and how she has positively impacted our years in school, views on education, and schooling overall. We hope that as a result of this traction Ms Goodman may be reinstated as a teacher at Eastern Technical High School. This petition was created as a form as free speech - as of this moment - we do not associate ourselves with any organization.
Elizabeth Goodman has been teaching at Eastern Technical High School for 8 years, graduated ETHS in the C/O '07, Syracuse University, while attending army ROTC from 2007 to 2012. Recently it has been revealed that she is being laid off under the reason of, to our knowledge, budget cuts. Goodman teaches GT/AA Human Anatomy and Physiology along with GT/AA Living Systems/Biology - previously also teaching GT/AA Health. Her work throughout the years have educated numerous students and inspired others to go into similar fields. We ask for your signature as a way of supporting E. Goodman’s qualification as a teacher (given you are a current or former student) and/or as a way of showing support to a teacher.
Additional information:
Reaching out to the following personnel and referencing "Educator Cuts" and "Budget Cuts" would be greatly appreciated and could help our case.
