With the rising fuel costs impacting households across America, having access to fuel alternatives has never been more critical, especially for owners of flex-fuel vehicles. Like many residents in South Jersey, I have been feeling the pinch at the pump. Equipping the new Wawa in Barnegat with E-85 ethanol fuel can give us more options and help manage transportation costs effectively.

Flex fuel vehicles are designed to run on any blend of gasoline and ethanol up to 85% ethanol (E-85). E-85 is not only generally cheaper than regular gasoline, but it is also better for the environment as it produces fewer greenhouse gases. Also a lot of race applications are starting to use ethanol fuels as a cheap high octane alternative.

There are numerous Wawa locations in New Jersey that already provide E-85, showing that the company is capable of offering this service. Bringing E-85 to our local Wawa will both align with the company's commitment to sustainability and foster goodwill among environmentally conscious consumers.
