I realize this petition has been viewed many times, but the signatures nowhere match the views!! I'd like to introduce you to my oldest daughter, Vanessa. She is 21 years old and has been struggling with drug addiction for over 2 and a half years!! Prior to her experimenting with drugs which now have a devastating hold on her, she was a 4.0 principle honor roll student, she maintained straight A's throughout her school years, extremely artistic and such a kind, caring and beautiful girl!! I pray that i dont lose my babygirl to the disease of addiction before Casey's Law becomes an available option for me, and i know there are thousands of families in my exact same predicament with their loved ones!! Over 129 individuals DIE from addiction related fatalities EVERY SINGLE DAY across the country!! Something more needs to be done to save lives, end the stigma and raise awareness, and to start sharing without shame!! Please sign this petition so we can move forward with gaining the attention of our law makers to adopt Casey's Law to help families be able to at the very least try to save their loved ones lives!! Casey's Law is not only needed here in California but in ALL states!! The attached photo is my daughter a few years ago BEFORE drugs took over.. Her life matters!!
