Bring Back TikTok in India

Bring Back TikTok in India
The Issue
Dear Government of India,
I am writing this petition on behalf of millions of Indians who deeply miss and love TikTok. Since its ban in India, countless creators, artists, entertainers, and ordinary people lost their favorite platform of expression. TikTok was more than just an app – it was a stage for creativity, a tool for learning, and a community where talent from small towns could shine just as brightly as from bigger cities.
TikTok provided:
Opportunities for Everyone: People from all walks of life were able to showcase their talents, earn recognition, and even build careers.
Economic Benefits: Many small businesses and content creators relied on TikTok to promote their products and services, leading to financial empowerment.
Cultural Exchange: The app allowed Indians to share their culture with the world and learn from others.
Community Building: For many, TikTok was a place of joy, connection, and positivity—especially during hard times like the pandemic.
With recent improvements in India-China relations and evolving digital policies, we respectfully request the Government of India to reconsider lifting the ban on TikTok. Allowing its return could not only reopen opportunities for millions of Indians but also strengthen India’s position in the global digital economy.
India is a country of artists, storytellers, and creative minds. TikTok gave every individual, no matter their background, the chance to dream big and be seen. By reallowing TikTok, the government would restore a beloved platform for cultural expression, economic growth, and innovation.
We urge all fellow citizens, creators, and TikTok lovers to sign and share this petition so that our voices can be heard. Together, we can bring back a platform that empowered millions of Indians.
Please support this petition and help us request our government to lift the ban on TikTok in India.
