For years, the salad bar was one of the things that made Sonny's BBQ unique. Whether you were a barbecue lover, someone looking for a lighter meal, or dining with family members who weren't in the mood for BBQ, the salad bar had something for everyone.

When COVID-19 hit, Sonny's understandably removed the salad bar out of concern for customer safety. At the time, that decision made sense. But now, years later, buffet-style dining has returned to countless restaurants across the country, yet the beloved Sonny's salad bar has never made a comeback.

Many loyal customers still talk about how much they miss it.

The salad bar wasn't just lettuce and toppings—it was part of the Sonny's experience. Favorites like the creamy crab salad, the smoked chicken salad, fresh vegetables, homemade dressings, soups, and the assorted puddings made it a destination in itself. Some guests even visited Sonny's specifically for the salad bar, while others enjoyed adding it to their barbecue meal.

Bringing it back would:

• Give customers more variety and healthier dining options.
• Appeal to guests who don't necessarily want barbecue.
• Enhance the value of Sonny's meals.
• Differentiate Sonny's from competing barbecue restaurants.
• Bring back a feature that many longtime customers still remember fondly.

We respectfully ask Sonny's BBQ leadership to listen to the voices of their loyal customers and seriously consider bringing back the salad bar to all participating locations.
