The Ice Cream Stall at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre in Gillingham Kent has met with an unfortunate issue. The Centre Management pulled the plug sockets out of the floor and said they no longer want us at the Centre. I have been trading at this Centre for 30 years and the healthy yogurt ice cream that I sold was very popular.

I am trying to get a petition together to fight this as I feel they have not adhered to the licence agreement.  They acted in a very unprofessional and almost bullying manner when the Centre Manager pulled the plugs out. We were making milkshakes for a family who then had to leave without their treat. The plugs were pulled out because of no fault of my own. The centre manager moved us down the mall to accommodate a new Greggs shop. When they did this there was not a sufficient power supply and an extension lead had to be run across the floor creating a precarious route for shoppers and a power supply that did not serve the ice cream machines we needed therefore resulting in power cuts all over Christmas when we were busy and needing to make money to get us through the winter period. They then decided to say in an email they did not want us anymore because...... ? I don't know..... the lack of them wanting to supply a better power source.
