Bring Back Annual Christmas Plays at Hobbs Hill Wood Primary School 🎄

We, the parents, carers and families of children attending Hobbs Hill Wood Primary School, are asking the school leadership team and governors to reconsider the decision to remove traditional Christmas performances from certain year groups.

Christmas plays are a treasured part of primary school life. They create magical memories for children and their families, build confidence, encourage teamwork and give every child the opportunity to shine.

We appreciate the school’s desire to provide performance opportunities throughout the academic year. However, we believe these additional opportunities should complement, rather than replace, the much-loved tradition of annual Christmas performances.

For many families, watching their children perform at Christmas is one of the highlights of the school year. These precious childhood moments cannot be recreated once they’re gone.

We are not asking for elaborate, expensive productions. Even a simple class play, Nativity or festive performance would allow every child to experience the excitement and joy of performing at Christmas.

We respectfully ask the school to reconsider this decision and ensure that every year group has the opportunity to participate in a Christmas performance each year.

We hope the school will listen to the views of families and work with parents to preserve this special tradition.

Please sign to help bring back annual Christmas performances for all children! 🎄❤️
