Bring back the Bubbleworks ride at Chessington in its original form

Growing up, I always was inspired by the bubbleworks and always wanted to go on it but never got the chance, I understand that loads of memories were from this ride and how many people adored it. I believe the reason that it closed was due to the Imperial Leather sponsorship which not only ruined the ride but also its reputation. Leading to decreased popularity which lead to this decision.
In 2016, the decision was made to close the iconic Bubbleworks, making way for The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure. While the new ride is enjoyable, it lacks the timeless charm and universal appeal that Bubbleworks provided. Also as of 2026, I believe that Chessington world of adventures has too many IPs as I have counted a total 6 IPs (with Minecraft land opening in 2028) and if we could replace the Gruffalo with Bubbleworks it would be a Much more creative and interesting ride rather then just another of Chessington IPs.
The Bubbleworks represented not just a ride but a piece of cultural heritage in the UK amusement park scene. It encouraged creativity, evoked childhood nostalgia, and provided a shared experience for families and friends. Losing it meant losing a part of Chessington's history that is irreplaceable.
Over the years, Chessington has successfully expanded its offerings, but reintroducing the Bubbleworks would fill a distinct and unfilled void. By bringing it back, Chessington could appeal to a broader audience, attracting those who grew up with the ride as well as newcomers eager to experience something so highly regarded by past visitors.
Rebuilding the Bubbleworks would not only boost ticket sales and park attendance but also reaffirm Chessington's commitment to blending tradition with innovation. It could be a modern revival of a classic, mixing old-school charm with contemporary technology, making it even more exciting than before.
Let’s unite to bring back this nostalgic treasure so new generations can create their own magical memories. Chessington World of Adventures has the opportunity to honor its past while paving the way for a vibrant future.
