The big lit up pole in Scranton brought joy to all during the 2023 Christmas season. We wanted to start a petition to keep it lit up all year long. To many, the lit up pole was a symbolization of New York’s Rockefeller Tree. Please bring it back ASAP. The pole’s lit up lights shined all throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania, all the way from Scranton to as far as Hazleton, PA. The lights on the pole were giving Northern Lights.
