Thank you so much, we are nearly there...

I have put these 2 pics together to illustrate exactly how much sand has been lost from the beach due to the lack of maintenance of the groynes.

These simple poles, with some planks along them to catch the sand, raised the level of the beach by ~3 metres for most of last century.

You can clearly see the difference that restoration of this groyne sand trap will make in these 2 photographs.
