Bring Back Sweet Tomatoes

The Issue

Anyone who went to Sweet Tomatoes remembers the delicious salad bar, the over the top sides, and the awesome desserts. When covid hit, they announced that they would be closing permanently. This was absolutely devastating to most who had experienced the awesome food Sweet Tomatoes had to offer.

The business that owned Sweet Tomatoes is still in high operation. I see trucks for the company go by almost every day. The company is called Garden Fresh. So it is not like the whole company was bankrupt, the company just shut down Sweet Tomatoes.

Many people are still angry that Sweet Tomatoes closed. And that was 3 years ago. If people are still angry about this, imagine how much it must mean for people to be putting in time and effort trying to bring it back.

We must come together to let Garden Fresh know that we have not and will not stop fighting for Sweet Tomatoes. We need to show them how many people would willingly go back and how much money they would gain if they did bring it back.

I remember going to Sweet Tomatoes almost every week, the salad bar, their famous pizza bread, and their mac and cheese waiting up at the beautiful buffet. The carpet, with tomatoes printed all over it, the colorful walls, and the friendly staff all there as extra bonuses. This restaurant brought joy to many, and if it comes back, it still can.

Also, Sweet Tomatoes Prices were considerably lower than other buffets and restaurants. Kids 3 and under were free. And kids 4-11 were only $6 for the entire buffet. And depending on the time of week and meal time, adult prices ranged from around $10 - $12. That really is not that expensive if you think about it. A family of 4 with 2 adults, a 2 year old, and a 6 year old could eat dinner there for only about $26.
