Modern, Eco-Friendly Systems ➡️ Outdoor pool and splash pad designs have come a long way! Today’s features use closed-loop, eco-friendly filtration systems. Bringing back a water feature is all about building a smart, sustainable, and low-maintenance space that modern families can enjoy for generations.
Preserving Our Beautiful Park ➡️ We love our green space! The current playground sits on the far side of the park, leaving a wonderfully open grassy area where the original pool once stood. Somerset was designed in the late 1940s as a walkable neighborhood hub where families could stroll or ride bikes down Switzer Drive, meaning we can enhance the park while keeping its natural charm and beautiful trees intact.
Creating Walkable Connections ➡️ Neighborhood pools hold a special place in a community. They offer local children a safe, walkable spot right around the corner to play, cool off, and build sweet lifelong memories together. Investing in accessible public spaces brings neighbors together and makes our community feel like home.

At the Somerset pool Saturday the number of admissions was 432, with 308 Sunday and 607 Monday, a total of 1347. There were 356 swimmers at the Centre street Municipal pool Saturday, 300 Sunday and 350 Monday, a total of 1006. The number admitted to the junior pool Saturday was 120, with 145 Sunday and 225 Monday…
