Petition to Reinstate Sharon King as Studio Manager at BFT Lilydale
We, the undersigned members of BFT Lilydale, are writing to formally express our strong disappointment and disagreement with the decision to remove Sharon “Shaz” King from her role as Studio Manager.
We understand that businesses sometimes need to make structural and operational changes. However, we believe this decision overlooks something extremely important — the people and community that make BFT Lilydale what it is.
Shaz is much more than a Studio Manager to many of us.
She is a familiar face who welcomes members, motivates us, encourages us, supports us and helps create the positive and energetic atmosphere that keeps people coming back to BFT Lilydale.
She knows the members. She knows the studio. She understands the culture of BFT Lilydale and has built genuine relationships with so many people within our community.
For many members, the connection we have with our coaches and studio management is a major reason we choose to train at BFT Lilydale.
We are particularly concerned that this decision has been made at a time when the studio has already experienced considerable change. Stability, consistency and strong relationships with members are extremely important, and we believe losing Shaz will have a significant impact on the culture and community of the studio.
We respect Tina and the wider BFT team, and this petition is not directed against any other staff member.
It is simply about making our voices heard regarding someone who we believe is an incredibly important part of BFT Lilydale.
WE ARE ASKING BFT LILYDALE TO RECONSIDER THIS DECISION.
We respectfully ask the owners and management of BFT Lilydale to listen to the members, reconsider the new management structure and reinstate Sharon King as Studio Manager of BFT Lilydale.
Business decisions are important — but so are the members who support the business every week.
If the BFT Lilydale community overwhelmingly wants Shaz to remain part of the studio, we believe that feedback deserves to be heard and seriously considered.
Shaz has supported us. Now we want to support her.
