The gyms on University of The Pacific's campus have vanished as of Mar 5th 2024.

Additionally, the poke stops vanished the day after on Mar 6th 2024, roughly around 11:00 am.

This recent change affects the students, the staff, and the people in the community who play Pokemon Go.

Campus life and community will forever be changed. This campus is a safe space for the community where people can take walks, play with their kids, and enjoy the beauty of their surroundings, and removing an integral aspect of fun and safety for Stockton is a travesty. People in Stockton deserve a place to have innocent, collaborative fun with their friends, family, and neighbors, and Pokemon Go provides that. The University of the Pacific should foster this fun, rather than discarding it.
