Bring Back Our Six Minutes

Bring Back Our Six Minutes
The Issue
Our reduced lunchtime has had very few positive impacts on students. Most students have had a negative reaction to this change, and it has resulted in a difficult schedule for students and teachers to remember. Students need these extra minutes to relax and have a brain break from classes. Ben Simmons, an academically gifted student, states "This school year has already been stressful with multiple accidents on Grant Road, but this schedule change is what does it for me". If things stay the same it will result in more mental anguish being placed on the student body. Mrs. Peterson, a business teacher, stated "It makes schedules hard to remember". Another solution to this would be adding extra minutes to our passing periods since the extra minutes in class have little to no positive effects.
