“At 4pm PDT on April 8, 2024, online play and other functionality that uses online communication will end for Nintendo 3DS* and Wii U software. This also includes online co-operative play, internet rankings, and data distribution.”

In order to help Nintendo recognize that the 3ds and Wii U are still being used, here are some things you can do:

•If you own a 3ds or Wii U, make an effort to play at least once a day using online services.

•Take your 3ds out as much as possible so more people can use Streetpass

Games such as Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Fire Emblem: Fates, Splatoon, The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, Mario Kart 8, All 3ds main series Pokémon games, and Super Smash Bros. For Wii U and 3ds will be affected.

Since the release of the Nintendo Switch, you must pay to use online features. If we don’t do anything about this, we will never have free online features again.

We have a little over a month make a change (as of February 16th), we can do this!

Since we can no longer use Nintendo Network/Online to prove to Nintendo that we want to keep it, all your signatures make a difference! When we reach enough (a very large number for sure), I can send this petition to Nintendo to prove how much we still care about Nintendo Online.
