In 2020, the Pilsley doctors' surgery closed, leaving our village without community-based GP provision. As residents of Pilsley and Lower Pilsley, we are calling on the Derbyshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) to:

Review the decision to close the surgery
Consult with patients to understand how the closure has affected access to healthcare
Investigate options to reinstate some GP provision in the village
Ensure any plans align with the Government’s new 10-Year Health Plan to bring care into local communities
We urge the ICB to take action and report back to our community with its findings.

This petition will be submitted at the next ICB public meeting on 18 September 2025.
