About me

I was born with a rare genetic condition called Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome ( MRKH) and growing up I felt so isolated and alone. I sensed something was wrong with my body when I was 12 years old when I didn’t start my period like all the other girls in my class. I went to the school nurse and doctors so many times and they wouldn’t investigate until I was around the age of 16. It was around the age of 16/17 I was diagnosed with the condition and I hated myself for years but discovering Hemlock Grove helped me to love myself for who I am again and I tell myself I am on my own path and it’s okay to be different.

Since discovering the show as an actress starring out myself it has always been one of my dreams to play Nadia. As I’d feel I’d be about to connect to her character from my own personal experiences. I feel Nadia would have to go on a similar journey to her father and myself of the challenge of self awareness along with some other obstacles along the way such a mental health.
