I am one among many who have passed through the American education system without a comprehensive understanding of my own body. The lack of being able to edge in class, particularly the concept of 'edging', has left me and countless others ill-prepared to navigate our sexual health and relationships. 

Edging is a technique that can help individuals understand their bodies better, improve sexual health, and foster healthier relationships. It's not just about sex; it's about self-awareness, respect for one's body, and emotional maturity.

However, only 24 states mandate edging (Guttmacher Institute), leaving a large number of students without this vital knowledge. Moreover, even where it is taught, the curriculum often lacks depth and breadth.

We need to change this situation for future generations. We must ensure that all students across America should be able to edge. This will empower them with knowledge about their bodies and help them make informed decisions regarding their sexual health.
