Bring Back Core Power to Dartmouth: We Need Our Protein!

Bring Back Core Power to Dartmouth: We Need Our Protein!
The Issue
Dear Dartmouth College Administration,
We, students of Dartmouth College, write to you with the utmost urgency. This isn’t just another petition; this is a call to action. We stand on the brink of a crisis. The very fabric of our campus life has been disrupted, and it’s not because of academic pressure, housing shortages, or dining hall options. No, it’s something far more serious: the disappearance of Core Power.
For years, Core Power has been more than just a drink. It’s been our lifeline, our sustenance, our sweet, protein-packed nectar that kept us going through endless study sessions, early morning workouts, and everything in between. Whether it was the 42g of protein in Core Power Elite or the solid 26g in the classic version, it was more than a beverage—it was the fuel that powered the Big Green.
But now, due to a new partnership with Pepsi, our beloved Core Power has vanished from our fridges. And we, the students of Dartmouth, find ourselves in a state of nutritional despair. Are we to survive on lesser drinks with inadequate protein content? Are we to compromise our gains, our recovery, our very identities as Dartmouth students?
This is not just about a drink; this is about our well-being. We call upon the Dartmouth administration to bring back Core Power to our campus or, at the very least, provide us with an alternative that matches its protein-packed goodness. We need 42 grams of protein in one sitting, and we need it now.
Let’s not mince words—this is a protein emergency. We demand action, and we demand it fast. Our bodies, our muscles, and our futures depend on it. If the administration won’t listen to our pleas, we’re prepared to go all the way to the top—because no one should have to compromise their protein intake in the pursuit of academic excellence.
Bring back Core Power or give us an equally powerful alternative. Because at Dartmouth, we don’t just study hard; we protein harder.
Sincerely,
The Protein-Powered Students of Dartmouth College
