Dear Charlotte Football Decision-Makers,

We, the loyal and slightly irrational fans of Charlotte Football, demand that you immediately bring back Brad Lambert to lead this program to glory (or at least to slightly fewer turnovers).

Yes, you’ve fired Biff Poggi, and while we’re sad to see his sweatshirts go, it’s time to hit the reset button—again. And who better to reboot this program again than the original reboot king, Brad Lambert?

Let us remind you of the facts:

 1. He was the first-ever Charlotte Football coach. That’s right, the OG. He built this program from nothing once before, and we believe he can build it from the rubble it’s in now.

 2. He’s still got it. Brad is currently the Defensive Coordinator at Wake Forest. He’s been there, done that, and probably still has his old Charlotte clipboard.

 3. Nostalgia sells. Who doesn’t want to relive the glory days of Charlotte Football…when we were full of hope and blissfully unaware of our future mediocrity?

 4. It just feels right. Like pineapple on pizza or yelling at refs, bringing Brad back makes zero sense but the most sense.

We’re not asking for much—just a man, a vision, and maybe a decent kicker. Let’s bring back the passion, the excitement, and most importantly, the guy who started it all.

Charlotte Football deserves better. We deserve better. Brad Lambert has probably gotten better.
