Dear General Motors and GMC Team,

We appreciate GMC's commitment to innovation and the advancement of electric vehicles. However, we are concerned about the decision to exclude Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support from the 2024 GMC Acadia EV and newer models, especially when these features are available in the gas-powered Acadia model released the same year.

This change is part of a broader strategy by GM to phase out Apple CarPlay and Android Auto from its electric vehicles, starting with the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV and extending to other models such as the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ, 2025 Cadillac Optiq, and 2026 GMC Hummer EV .

While we understand GM's desire to develop a more integrated infotainment system, we believe that removing these widely used features may alienate customers who rely on them for convenience and safety.

We respectfully request that GMC reconsider this decision and restore Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support to the newer EV's and ones to come out in the future through a simple software update and bringing it to newer models to come out in the future.
