1140 hours will be provided in circa 75% of Falkirk establishments with effect from 24 August.

All parents will receive communication of their child's place by the end of this week.

Where establishments are unable to provide 1140 from August, 736.5 hours will be provided with 1140 asap thereafter. Only a small number will be delayed until next summer due to necessary construction works.

There will be an additional week's holiday in October to reflect a week of the "summer holiday" being lost.
