Amp Nousiharat is not just a name, but my brother, a husband, and a loving son. Our family is intertwined with his presence, and his absence threatens to tear apart the very fabric of our existence. Amp was merely six months old when he arrived in America with our parents, escaping the chaos of a war zone. This country, the United States, is his only known home.

Growing up in America, Amp has embraced its culture, its way of life, and its values. He has never returned to Laos and knows nothing of the place he once fled as an infant. To him, America is not just a place to live, it's where his heart resides, where his family and friends are, where his dreams were built.

Unfortunately, past mistakes are putting his future in jeopardy. Mistakes that are part of being human, but ones that are now unjustly threatening to tear him away from our family. Amp’s removal would not just punish him, but dismantle a family built in this land. We can't foresee a life without him, and all his family are here in America.

Deportation is a severe punishment that fails to consider the deep ties Amp has forged in this community and the contributions he has made. Removing him from the only life he knows ignores his personal journey and the bonds of love and responsibility he has to the family he has here.

We urge the authorities to consider not just Amp's past, but also his present and future, as a core member of this community and as an integral part of his family. We call upon decision-makers to show compassion, to recognize the humanity in Amp's story, and to allow him to stay in the country he calls home.

Please join us in this urgent plea for justice and sign the petition to stop Amp Nousiharat's deportation. Stand with us to reunite families and uphold the values of compassion and understanding.
