The issue

Aaron is has been held in Iceland without charges since July 30.   A country generally seen as naturally beautiful has a dark side!

July 30 - the date armed Icelandic coastguards stormed the Captain Paul Watson Foundation vessel Bandero.  They seized the ship and detained the crew, they took passports and belongings and the documentation they were given was in a language they couldn't understand.      The crew were not charged and despite the Icelandic authorities saying they would be deported, Aaron remains detained without his passport.

The Bandero was in seas around Iceland in response to that nation's illegal slaughter of the second largest animal on the planet, endangered fin whales.   Despite most of its population being against whaling, Iceland's wealthiest citizen (Kristjan Loftsson) continues to send out his boats to cruelly slaughter magnificent animals, including pregnant females with exploding harpoons.

Aaron volunteered his time for the whales, for the oceans.  He is a hero, he needs to come home and we need to ensure those with the power to put pressure on the Icelandic authorities do so.

It is both unjust and inhumane to detain someone without charges merely for trying to protect our oceans and its magnificent creatures.

Together, we can show Aaron that his dedication and efforts were not in vain. Let's ensure he is brought back safely and soon.
