As saddening as this news is, it is important to share with you what the school is doing to defend their policy change to Medicaid  acceptance. Reports are coming out that students have allegedly been pressured by the administration to not speak about the school's recent decision to not have Medicaid as an acceptable form of health coverage for 2020. A leaked audio clip received by the "Religion News Service" allegedly captures student journalist's frustrations with BYU-Idaho administraton's threat to decrease funding for the school newspaper, The Scroll, if any publication comes out covering the Medicaid issue in a negative way.
