Jails and prisons are full of nonviolent offenders due to the illegality of a natural herb. States like california have legalized and there is no apparent downside.

Why is the worst and most addictive drug (alchohol) legal while thousands die each year because of it? Marijuana is harmless by comparison and already being legalized in other states. 

So why is marijuana illegal in Georgia? Certainly not for safety reasons. Is it your goal to incarcerate nonviolent citizens while throwing away millions in tax revenue? If so, then dont legalize marijuana. If not, what is the incentive not to legalize marijuana?

If you care about Georgia citizens, want to lower the crime rate and increase tax revenue then do the right thing and legalize marijuana.
