It’s high time we address these systematic failures. Transparency and accountability must become the cornerstones of our approach to handling domestic and sexual abuse cases. We need to ensure that every story is not just heard, but truly listened to, and that each report leads to meaningful action.

By shining a light on these stories and demanding change, we aim to reform government policies and reallocate resources more equitably. Our goal is to shift the focus toward victim support, ensuring survivors receive the necessary care and justice they deserve.

We propose establishing a platform where survivors can openly share their experiences with the assurance of anonymity and support. Coupling this with a robust check on existing methods and services will help identify exactly where the system falters. Furthermore, there should be a reassessment of current resource allocation, ensuring that the needs of victims are prioritized over the convenience of the accused.
