Filing a lawsuit against all parties involved in the doc. "Leaving Neverland"
The Issue
Dear Sir/Madam,
With the help of this petition, I desperately hope to ensure a lawsuit being filed against all parties involved in the production and broadcasting of the documentary "Leaving Neverland". The given parties are henceforth referred to as:
Wade Robson (the accuser); James Safechuck (the second accuser); Dan Reed (Director and Producer); Amos Pictures (Production Company); SundanceFilmFestival + SundanceTV (Broadcast); HBO (TV program); Channel 4 (TV program); Kew Media Group (TV group); John Cooper (SundanceFestival Director); Amy Redford + Caterina Fake + Ava Durvanay (Sundance Trustees)
Additionally to that, I would like to name all sponsors for they, too, have been a part of this project:
AT&T; Salt Lake Tribune; GEICO; Lyft; Stella Artois; Acura; Ancestry; Dell; Michael Dell; Canon USA; Chase Bank; Dropbox; IMDB; Netflix; Reed Hastings; University of Utah Health Department; Alexandre Arnault
The documentary "Leaving Neverland" has aired on January 25th, in Utah. Due to the fact that every statement in this movie has already been proven to be entirely false over a decade ago, it would be simply irresponsible not to make the different parties bear the consequences.
Michael Jackson has been acquitted of every single charge. Both the FBI and CIA couldn't find any evidence, although having been investigating every detail and searching for suspicious items at his Neverland Ranch. Wade Robson has defended Michael Jackson ever since the first allegations in 1993 took place. Back in 2013, Robson sued MJ's estate for a total amount of $2,1 billion, but his lawsuit was dismissed two years later by a probate court and judge Mitchell L. Beckloff. James Safechuck stood up for Michael Jackson as well. Also, both now grown men have testified under oath that, and I quote: "Michael Jackson had never touched them in an inappropriate way".
Admittedly, I am aware of the fact that there is a condition called "repressed memories" which Robson and Safechuck could suffer from and therefore that could explain their actions, but that would automatically exclude a victim to defend, support, and even work with their abuser in any way - the way Mr. Robson and Safechuck did in the past. Taking a look at the whole situation, the question arises, why would Michael Jackson have allowed his first defense witness in such an important trial to be someone that he abused and raped for seven years, namely Wade Robson? That circumstance makes zero logical sense, just like the rest of the accusations that begin to reappear once again.
Moreover, this documentary which consists of blank lies is a dangerous threat to actual victims and real abusers. This is why this movie should never have aired in the first place. Still, given the fact that we won't be able to keep it from spreading, I am more than happy to know that Michael's nephew Taj Jackson is working on a documentary series himself.
But besides that, I think that in order to let the truth prevail, we need to file a lawsuit against the people who only cause more lies to which others will listen to. This petition will hopefully make people come together and unite in support of justice. When we manage to gather as many signatures as possible, then certain people in power, lawyers, and journalists will be alerted to take a stand and transform our words into actions.
My plan is to offer Wade Robson & James Safechuck (and the other parties) to options, which will automatically make them tell the whole truth, no matter what they will "choose".
a) They will get sued for libel and slander, which will cost them a lot of money.
b) They will get sued for lying under oath when they defended him, an act that is being referred to as perjury and therefore indictable.
It will force all of them to speak out. If they prefer their money (first option), they will, therefore, admit having been saying the truth in court. If they prefer their freedom (second option), they will ruin their very own documentary. As you can see, the truth will prevail either way.
Not only do and will their actions cause Michael Jackson's reputation to be threatened, but with what they have been stating it is clear to say that this must be considered slander and libel. Even if you are not a big fan of Michael Jackson, do not like his music, fashion, or lifestyle, you still should stand up for the truth.
If there are any questions emerging about this, please feel free to write to me. Thank you so much for your support. We can do this although it may seem naive and blue-eyed. Every big movement has to start somewhere - and this movement starts here.
I would like to end this with a statement from the Michael Jackson estate. Please read this before you decide whether to sign or not.
"Leaving Neverland isn’t a documentary, it is the kind of tabloid character assassination Michael Jackson endured in life, and now in death. The film takes uncorroborated allegations that supposedly happened 20 years ago and treats them as fact. These claims were the basis of lawsuits filed by these two admitted liars which were ultimately dismissed by a judge. The two accusers testified under oath that these events never occurred. They have provided no independent evidence and absolutely no proof in support of their accusations, which means the entire film hinges solely on the word of two perjurers.
Tellingly, the director admitted at the Sundance Film Festival that he limited his interviews only to these accusers and their families. In doing so, he intentionally avoided interviewing numerous people over the years who spent significant time with Michael Jackson and have unambiguously stated that he treated children with respect and did nothing hurtful to them. By choosing not to include any of these independent voices who might challenge the narrative that he was determined to sell, the director neglected fact checking so he could craft a narrative so blatantly one-sided that viewers never get anything close to a balanced portrait.
For 20 years Wade Robson denied in court and in numerous interviews, including after Michael passed, that he was a victim and stated he was grateful for everything Michael had done for him. His family benefitted from Michael’s kindness, generosity and career support up until Michael’s death. Conveniently left out of Leaving Neverland was the fact that when Robson was denied a role in a Michael Jackson themed Cirque du Soleil production, his assault allegations suddenly emerged.
We are extremely sympathetic to any legitimate victim of child abuse. This film, however, does those victims a disservice. Because despite all the disingenuous denials made that this is not about money, it has always been about money – millions of dollars — dating back to 2013 when both Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who share the same law firm, launched their unsuccessful claims against Michael’s Estate. Now that Michael is no longer here to defend himself, Robson, Safechuck and their lawyers continue their efforts to achieve notoriety and a payday by smearing him with the same allegations a jury found him innocent of when he was alive."
Thank you.
