Robert Brown Aderholt is an American politician and attorney who has served as the U.S. Representative for Alabama's 4th congressional district since 1997. A member of the Republican Party, Aderholt represents a district that encompasses parts of Tuscaloosa County, Birmingham's northern suburbs, and the southern suburbs of Huntsville and Decatur. Before his congressional tenure, he was a municipal judge in the City of Haleyville from 1992 to 1995 and served as an Assistant Legal Advisor to Governor Fob James. Aderholt holds a Bachelor's degree from Birmingham-Southern College and a Juris Doctor from Samford University.
