Our public boat ramps along the causeway are no longer safe for citizens to use. It has become a weekly occurrence for citizens to return to the dock, only to find their windows broken out in their vehicles. As you are aware, due to the location being on the very edge of both Mobile and Baldwin counties, it is difficult for local law enforcement to maintain a presence that reduces/prevents these type of "smash and grab" events. That is why we need video surveillance at the public ramps to help deter theft and bring these people to justice.

We are starting the F.A.C.T. campaign (Fever Against Car Thieves). The Fever would like to partner with you and the local law enforcement/municipalities to make this happen. We are a group of outdoorsmen/women 19,000+ strong, with the vast majority of members living/hunting/fishing right here in Mobile & Baldwin counties. Let’s all work together and make this happen!
