The Issue

The Eurovision Song Contest has been a beloved tradition for millions across Europe and beyond. As fans, we eagerly await a showcase of musical diversity and friendly competition. However, recent events have cast a shadow over this cherished celebration.

For the past two years, Israel has reportedly manipulated the results to secure a second-place finish. This not only undermines the integrity of the contest but also takes away from the joy and excitement we once experienced. As a fan, it feels personal. Eurovision was more than just a contest; it was a symbol of unity, culture, and entertainment. Unfortunately, recent developments have turned it into a spectacle of unfair play and manipulation.

Moreover, Israel's actions extend beyond the realm of entertainment. Their repeated offenses, including crimes against humanity, cannot go unnoticed. These actions contradict the spirit of Eurovision, which aims to celebrate peace, diversity, and togetherness. By allowing a participant that contradicts these values, we compromise Eurovision's integrity.

We call on members of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), participating states, contestants, and the wider public to consider a boycott of the Eurovision Song Contest until these issues are resolved. It's time to stand together for fairness and ethics, preserving the true essence of Eurovision. If five countries could do it this year, so can all of us.

By signing this petition, you lend your voice to a movement striving for transparency, justice, and the genuine spirit of competition. Stand with us as we demand accountability and protect the integrity of this beloved contest. Your signature matters. Join us in making a difference.
