I am deeply affected by the ongoing genocide against Palestinians, a crisis that has been exacerbated by the support of countries like France. As someone who values human rights and justice, I find it distressing that France, a nation known for its commitment to liberty and equality, is implicated in this tragedy.

France has been providing arms to Israel which are being used in the conflict against Palestinians. According to Amnesty International's 2020 report on global arms transfers, France is among the top five providers of weapons and military equipment to Israel. This complicity cannot be overlooked.

The Olympic Games have always symbolized unity and peace among nations. Hosting such an event in a country that supports actions leading to loss of innocent lives contradicts these principles. The Paris 2024 Olympics should be an opportunity for us all to stand together against injustice.
