Overwatch 2 has been the center of one of the worst video game sequels ever made in 2022. At Blizzcon 2019, Blizzard has promised their players that they will receive PvE missions (Player vs Environment), and would define what a video game sequel means. Players have excitedly waited for 3 years until the game released in October 4th 2022. However there was no PvE yet, or so we thought. Blizzard had stated that they will keep developing the PvE missions to perfection. The worst part of Overwatch 2 however was the removal of Loot Boxes. Loot Boxes have become a staple of Overwatch 1. Belgium cracked down on Loot Boxes and gambling in gaming to the point where it was made Illegal, and that Blizzard would avoid any legal battles from around the world, but players still want Loot Boxes. Instead we have a Shop menu in Overwatch 2, and the Skins, Voice lines, Emotes and Highlight Intros have been made very expensive and you would have to spend real money to get Overwatch Coins just to get them, and players are not happy. Another reason for this Petition to boycott this game is because of the cancellation of the PvE missions we we're promised in 2019. Overwatch 2 Developers said in a livestream saying that "We can't promise to deliver on that original vision, what this means is we won't bring the PvE missions to the game." This has caused players to get very angry, as the game has become a cash grab and a complete scam. This game is making players bankrupt because of it's predatory monetization, broken promises, false advertising, and corporate greed.
