Update: CBS and Paramount Global Have Crossed a Line — Choosing AI Over Humanity

Thank you to every person who has stood by this movement. Your support means everything—and now, we have even more urgent reasons to act.

Alessandrio Machi, a dedicated advocate for transparency in media, is uncovering shocking new information: Paramount Global is actively siding with artificial intelligence over human talent.

That’s right—while hardworking actors, writers, and creators bring heart, soul, and authenticity to television, Paramount appears to be laying the groundwork to replace them.

AI Should Help Humans—Not Replace Them

Artificial Intelligence can be a powerful tool—but only if it’s used ethically. It should be used to support and assist human creativity, not erase it. If Paramount Global is trying to eliminate human contributions in favor of soulless automation, it is not just wrong—it is disgusting.

Do we really want to live in a world where our stories, our voices, our characters are generated by an algorithm? Where real people with dreams and talents are discarded because a corporation wants to save a few dollars? Overreliance on AI is also lazy. Humans were designed to think, research and do work in addition to doing things they love and being with people they love, and trying to replace a significant aspect of humanity does not make for a life that is meaningful. It's like social media- good in small doses, dangerous in excess, and when in excess, takes away from real life.

CSI: Vegas and So Help Me Todd Deserve Better—So Do We

CBS claims there’s “no room” on their schedule. That’s a lie. These shows aren’t being canceled because they aren’t good—they’re being canceled because they don’t fit Paramount’s new mold of low-cost, high-output, low-creativity programming.

CSI: Vegas is a spin-off that works—because it’s well-written, well-acted, and not diluted by six other versions airing at the same time. So Help Me Todd is original, heartwarming, and smart. These shows are what TV should be about.

But CBS and Paramount are sacrificing them—not because of lack of quality or viewership—but because of profit-driven, short-sighted greed.

They Are Hiding the Numbers and Manipulating Viewers

Important viewing data is being intentionally hidden from the public. Why? Because transparency would prove that these shows had loyal audiences—and that CBS and Paramount are wrong. Dig into research if you are interested, and you will find deception that should not be rewarded.

They’re hoping you won’t notice. But you did. And that matters.

You Deserve More Than Corporate Deception

You are more than a subscription number. You are a viewer, a fan, a person with a voice. Don’t let greedy executives manipulate you for soulless profit.

Unlike Paramount, there are still networks that care—ABC’s High Potential is one example of a network investing in creativity and original storytelling.

How You Can Fight Back — And Win

1. Stream the Shows They’re Trying to Kill
Watch CSI: Vegas, So Help Me Todd, and other threatened shows on streaming platforms. Although you will have to watch on Paramount Plus, you can delete your account after watching these shows; additionally, every view sends a message:

“We’re still watching. We still care.”

2. Sign and Share the Petitions That Matter

Support Alessandrio Machi’s petition, exposing the illegal and unethical practices of CBS and Paramount.

Sign Sophie A’s petition to save CSI: Vegas—because it can be saved.

Share this petition with fans, friends, and anyone who believes that TV should be made by people, for people. Share via social media, email, text, whatever method you prefer and will reach the most people.

3. Write to CBS and Paramount

Send emails. Mail letters. Flood their inboxes. Psychology 101: If enough people speak up, they’ll be forced to listen.

4. Stop Settling for Less

Don't support lazy spin-offs and recycled content. Demand better. Reward originality. Punish mediocrity.

This Isn’t Just About TV—It’s About Us

CBS and Paramount Global are making it clear: They would rather answer to algorithms than to audiences. But we still have power—our voices, our actions, our choices.

Don’t let them decide the future of storytelling. Don’t let them silence the creators. Don’t let them erase humanity from our screens.

We deserve better. And together, we can fight back.
