Assalamualikum This is Shahul Hameed and I reside in Shikaripalya, an area known for its dense Muslim population. The presence of co-live PGs (Paying Guest accommodations) here deeply concerns me, as co-living arrangements are considered Haram or forbidden according to Islamic culture. This practice not only undermines our cultural and religious values but also disrupts the social harmony of our community.

Co-living arrangements often bring together individuals from different backgrounds, sometimes leading to situations that are culturally inappropriate. In Shikaripalya, where we strive to uphold our Muslim traditions and values, the presence of these accommodations poses a threat to our way of life. The community should be a place where families feel safe and Cultural, but the growing prevalence of these acommodations is causing anxiety and apprehension among us.

We respect everyone's right to choose their living arrangements, but it is crucial to consider the impact of these choices on a community that emphasizes adherence to Islamic values. Therefore, I urge the local authorities, Leaders of Shikaripalya, real estate developers, and owners of these PGs to reconsider their stance and support us in preserving the cultural integrity of Shikaripalya.
