In late 2017, Hasbro and DHX created a digital series on YouTube based on the beloved Equestria Girls franchise. It even featured interactive shorts for viewers to choose their ending, but most of them were blocked due to COPPA. The series suddenly came to an end in early 2020, leaving fans to wonder what would happen if the main characters graduated from Canterlot High.

Rumor had it that WildBrain had to close the Equestria Girls production with Holidays Unwrapped. According to co-director Katrina Hadley, only Hasbro can officially tell us that the entire digital series can be over. We believe that Boulder Media might be our last hope of restoring the digital series. We need to convince Hasbro once and for all to let Boulder bring back Equestria Girls.
