Conservation tourists from the USA make up a large percentage of the visitors to Botswana every year. 

A recent poll suggests that the choice to re-introduce trophy hunting and culling of elephants to Botswana was not met with a positive response. 

It is good to know that Botswana is so confident in their decisions.  Perhaps they are looking elsewhere for a foreign income?
