Petition - Patriot's Way Bridge - Transportation Member Community Funded Project
The Issue
The Borough of Oakland is applying for a 'Congressional Transportation Member Designated Project Request' in the amount of $4,184,830.00 for the Superstructure Replacement of the Patriot's Way Bridge through the 'Local Transportation Initiatives' Program of the U.S. Department of Transportation to U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer's Office. The Borough of Oakland is seeking petitions of support from our community and project stakeholders to increase the Borough's chances of receiving this federal funding. By signing this petition, you agree that the Patriot's Way Bridge is a necessity and serves as the only non-emergency means of ingress and egress for the residents of the Ramapo River Reserve.
By signing this petition, you are in favor of the Borough's funding request to Congressman Josh Gottheimer. This funding would alleviate a significant burden on the taxpayers of Oakland, and therefore you fully support the Borough's application.
